OXFORD — Now that Ole Miss defensive end Greg Hardy is close to full health, he’s out to make sure people don’t remember him as a one-dimensional player.
“There’s been this whole stereotype of Greg Hardy not being able to stop the run and not being a power player,” Hardy said. “So that’s something I felt like I needed to work on. Like I told you last season, if there’s something I need to work on, then I’ll do it.”
Hardy is already regarded as one of the top pass rushers in the country, with 18 1/2 sacks the past two years despite missing much of last season because of a stress fracture in his foot.
