Expectations fuel buying surges at Big 3
Economic woes would seem to force Mississippi’s college football fans to at least take a second look at spending a few hundred dollars on season tickets.
But at least this spring, optimism is winning over wallets.
Football season ticket sales are up significantly at Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Southern Miss, with each school seemingly riding its own unique wave of momentum into the hot summer months.
At State, there’s optimism over new coach Dan Mullen. In Oxford, fans have top-shelf aspirations for Jevan Snead and the Rebels. In Hattiesburg, fans are excited about the second year under coach Larry Fedora.
