Harvin’s draft status plunges following drug test report
GAINESVILLE – One-time can’t-miss receiver Percy Harvin has spent the past few weeks watching his name slip down NFL Draft boards.
Harvin’s stock has been in freefall since NFLDraftBible.com reported April 2 that the former Florida star failed a drug test for marijuana at the NFL scouting combine. In a story posted today, FoxSports.com cited two sources that said Harvin failed the test.
The Newark Star-Ledger reported last week that Harvin canceled a visit with the New York Giants – only a few days after it was reported that the Dallas Cowboys had removed Harvin’s name from their draft board.
