Now Mitch Barnhart gets something that was not available to Billy Gillispie — a second chance.

Now Planet Wildcat will twist its unrelenting scrutiny toward Barnhart, the University of Kentucky athletic director. Now they will look for Barnhart to recruit a better coach, co-worker and public ambassador than Gillispie, the guy that Barnhart swore was the perfect fit for Kentucky less than two years ago.
