Dooley Noted: SEC coaches’ rankings at stake
Last December I did something that started a trend. I ranked the SEC’s coaches as a way of showing how amazing the coaching talent is in this league.
Since then, everyone with a blog, message board, column, radio show or Etch A Sketch has ranked the coaches in the SEC, often sparking fan interest. And by fan interest I mean grouchy posts and e-mails.
The reason I bring this up is that no matter who you are out there, your perception of 1 through 12 has probably changed a lot as this season goes along. And what happens both Saturday and in December in Atlanta will again change most rankings.
Falling: Les Miles, Tommy Tuberville, Phil Fulmer.
Rising: Bobby Johnson, Nick Saban.
