Dogs’ West Coast attack putting up ugly numbers

STARKVILLE — Sylvester Croom spent hours in front of a monitor Sunday watching video of Auburn’s 3-2 win over his Mississippi State team. He was hoping to answer a singular question: Did I ask my offense to do too much?
Fast-forward. Rewind. Pause. Look. Squint.
Deliberate.
The verdict?
“No, I don’t think we asked them to do too much,” Croom, the MSU coach, said Monday.
Meaning there won’t be any wipe-the-slate clean, back-to-the-drawing board sort of upheavals planned for the MSU offense this week, as State (1-2) prepares for its Saturday game at Georgia Tech (2-1).
