Hot seat a fact of life for Tennessee’s Fulmer

For a change, nobody in the SEC is really on the hot seat this season.

A year ago, we knew Ole Miss’ Ed Orgeron was in a little trouble, and sure enough, he got the boot after just three seasons following an 0-8 finish by the Rebels in the SEC.
The wolves were also howling around Arkansas’ Houston Nutt and Tennessee’s Phillip Fulmer. Nutt dealt with it by saying adios to the Hogs at season’s end and jumping at the chance to replace Orgeron at Ole Miss. Fulmer dealt with it by recovering from a couple of embarrassing losses to Florida and Alabama and leading the Vols to their fifth SEC championship game appearance in the last 11 years.
But back to the original question: Which coach in the SEC currently sits on the hottest seat heading into the 2008 season?
