Seminary elects new alderman

The city of Seminary elected Steven Sanford as one of the new alderman Tuesday.

Seminary held a special election Tuesday to fill the seat vacated by one of its aldermen that resigned in October.

David Daniels had held that seat for 32 years, but stepped down amid disagreements with other members of the board.

At that time current Mayor Billy Karolyi and the City Clerk Charlotte Dunn also resigned.
