Gov. Bryant, Sec. of Commerce Pritzker to host RESTORE meeting

Phil Bryant to host Dec. 9 meeting of RESTORE Council in Biloxi

Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant will host a meeting of the RESTORE Council next Wednesday at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum Convention Center in Biloxi. The 10 a.m. meetings will be preceded by a 9 a.m. open house. Both are open to the public.

The RESTORE Council is expected to vote on the Initial Funded Priorities List (FPL), as well as the Spill Impact Component Rule. U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker will chair the meeting, which will include council representatives of the five Gulf states impacted by the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill, in addition to representatives from various federal agencies.
