The campaign for state auditor has centered on the challenger accusing the incumbent of mismanaging campaign funds and not totally concentrating on his job.
Joce Pritchett, a 48-year-old engineer running as a Democrat, has used a lot of the talking points Madison Mayor Mary Hawkins-Butler did in the Republican primary against Stacey Pickering. Pickering defeated Butler in August and faces Pritchett in the Nov. 3 general election.
