Wicker: Oil spill recovery money one step closer to reality
SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) –
BP oil spill funds to help restore the Gulf Coast are one step closer to being finalized. On Thursday, U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker announced the U.S. Treasury Department issued regulations related to the RESTORE Act.
Wicker says these regulations ensure that we are one step closer to unlocking the funds needed to finalize several projects in South Mississippi.
