Both the state Republican Party and the Democratic Party have new staffers.
Brett Kittredge, who has run a conservative political blog, is now communication director for the GOP.
Kittredge has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi and a master’s from Abilene Christian University.
On the Democratic front, Thelma Kumar is the state party’s new compliance director, and Jacqueline Amos Norris is now a field director.
Kumar is secretary of the Rankin County Democratic Party, and Norris is vice chair of the Hinds County Democratic Party
