Congressman Palazzo talks economy
RUNNELSTOWN, MS (WDAM) – Last week brought some discouraging job numbers and bad economic news. Only 54,000 jobs added in May and unemployment went up 9.1 percent .
Congressman Steven Palazzo says those numbers are dismal but with a republican plan things could turn around.
“Record deficits, record debt equals record unemployment, but we didn’t get into trouble over night. We are doing everything we can to pull us out of this slump,and we think through the republican plan, the plan to prosperity, that over time we’ll foster a healthy business climate in our nation. We will see economic prosperity that has been unmatched in our nations history.” said Palazzo.
