Barbour kicks off swing through early primary states
On Thursday he travels to Tallahassee, Fla., where he’ll make a trip to the state capitol and meet with the state House GOP caucus in the evening. On Friday afternoon he’s scheduled for “private meetings” with Florida Republicans, according to a Barbour spokesman.
After his visit to Florida wraps up, Barbour will head north to South Carolina, where he’ll be at the county Republican conventions in Greenville and Spartanburg over the weekend.
Barbour continues to mull a run for president in 2012, but his travel schedule hints he’s already made up his mind.
