Chamber Running Ads For Childers
According to an article in the L.A. Times, the Chamber is spending nearly $1.9 million on two separate ads for each candidate. Political strategist I have talked with have also confirmed that they are running ads for Childers.
And if we go back about a month, here is what Childers said about a third-party group who was running ads on behalf of Alan Nunnelee:
“Secretive outside groups like the AFF, that are also supporters of Alan Nunnelee, think they can tell North Mississippians what to believe clearly aren’t familiar with Mississippi voters. North Mississippians are independent-minded people and they don’t like to be told what to do, especially by groups that could be backed by big companies or foreign entities. The people of the First District know Travis Childers personally. They’ll make up their own minds about this race.”
