Conference Call Confirms Date for Mayor’s Trial
After a conference call this morning between Judge Dan Jordan and Mayor Melton and his counsel it seems that February 2nd will remain the date for the Mayor’s civil rights trial.
The call was scheduled to check in on the Mayor’s health conditions that were responsible for the most recent of the three delays that the trial has already seen.
In a order issued by Judge Jordan it says the cases will proceed as scheduled. The order also says that Melton has provided proof that he is complying with doctors.
