Eaves’ plans for the state include putting Katrina recovery on the fast-track for all Mississippians and not excluding those with mid-level or low income in the process.

Eaves also wants to cut the grocery tax and will fully fund education every year.

He’s going to reform the Ethics Commission by requiring members to remove themselves from cases involving the person that appointed them to the commission, preventing members from ruling on cases where they have any financial interests in play and making complaints, votes, rulings and opinions of the commission publicly available within 72 hours.
