“People ask me do I support the sunshine bill,” said Attorney General hopeful Al Hopkins. “I tell them yes, but it’s not necessary. If you have an honest attorney general, you don’t need it.”
Incumbent Attorney General Jim Hood’s opponent said his support of the sunshine bill, which is aimed at insuring that government records are easily accessible, is so that taxpayers can know not only where their money is going, but that it is being spent prudently.
