Former state Sen. John White, D-Booneville, died at home Tuesday of complications from diabetes.
White, 70, was an optometrist who had a practice in Baldwyn from 1965 to 2005. He also had an office in Booneville. White had lived in Baldwyn and Booneville. He and his wife, Ann, had moved to Saltillo in the past few months.
