Mayoral hopefuls vie to get out vote
Spring may have been in the air Sunday but for many potential Jackson voters, politics was not.
Just two days before Tuesday’s mayoral and City Council elections, several residents spent the afternoon clad in jogging suits, chasing Frisbees or just soaking up the sunshine at area parks.
Many people said they have not decided between three mayoral candidates on the ballot in Tuesday’s Democratic primary, and some said they weren’t sure whether they would vote.
