The Hinds County Democratic Executive Committee (HCDEC) is hosting a Remembrance Ceremony honoring the life and legacy of Congressman John Lewis.
The ceremony will take place tomorrow (Friday, July 31) at 5:00pm on the steps of the Hinds County Courthouse. All participants must wear masks and practice social distancing.
Remarks will be given by Jarrius Adams, Mississippi Young Democrats, Mike Espy, Candidate for U.S. Senate, De’Keither Stamps, Jackson City Council, Judge Latrice Westbrook, Candidate for Mississippi Supreme Court. They will also open the floor to any others who would like to speak.
