
According to a post on his campaign Facebook page, Representative Jay Hughes has qualified to run in the Lt. Governor’s race in 2019.
Hughes announced in May his plan to run for Lt. Governor.
Hughes has been a lifelong advocate for public education, improving our state’s infrastructure, and increasing access to affordable health care options, including those needing help with mental health and addiction issues. He “vows to end crony contacts, government waste and unfunded mandates to our local governments and public schools.”
