Nationally syndicated radio host endorses McDaniel for US Senate

By: Courtney Ingle - October 18, 2018

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Chris McDaniel announced today that he has received the endorsement of nationally-syndicated radio host Lars Larson in the special election to fill the remainder of retired Senator Thad Cochran’s term.

“I’d love to see [Chris] get there,” said Larson in reference to the United States Senate. “[He’s] got the right values and I fully endorse [his] candidacy.”

Larson came to Mississippi to campaign for McDaniel in 2014 when he challenged Senator Cochran. He believes the race was stolen from McDaniel.

“He’s running for the United States Senate, he’s done this before, and he should have replaced Thad Cochran, but now he has the chance to finally get into the place he already should have been,” Larson said on his radio show back in July. “The problem is people like Mitch McConnell, who I just barely consider a Republican, he’s already got somebody picked out that he’d like to see be the replacement instead of you.”

“Lars is known nationwide as a strong conservative voice,” McDaniel said. “Voices like Lars are crucial to the conservative movement, and I am honored to have his endorsement.”
