Rep. Greg Snowden arrested for refusal to take DUI test after getting into traffic accident

The Clarion-Ledger has reported that Mississippi House of Representatives Speaker Pro Tem Greg Snowden has been arrested following the refusal of a field sobriety test after a crash in Meridian.

Snowden spoke with Clarion-Ledger writers from the Meridian police department as he waited for his ride home. He admitted texting and driving about the Judge Brett Kavanaugh sexual misconduct allegations.

The speaker pro tem said he was having walking issues due to bad knees. While he said that he may have had a beer at lunch, Snowden said he refused the DUI test because lawyer friends have told him that is the best practice.
