Mississippi Democrats pull out the long knives . . . against each other #mssen

The Democratic establishment is now actively fighting venture capitalist Howard Sherman.  In a story first reported on Y’all Politics six weeks ago and most recently by the Clarion Ledger, Sherman made substantial contributions to Republican Senator Roger Wicker in 2017.

Democratic establishment favorite candidate David Baria began exploiting that in an email to supporters.

Not to be outdone, longtime party operative Sam Begley has now essentially filed a residency challenge with the Democratic Executive Committee in what appears to be a clear attempt to get Sherman kicked off the ballot entirely.

As posted by Kingfish, this challenge shows there may be some big fight brewing amongst Mississippi Democrats.
