Zach Scruggs and Dickie Scruggs continue to bolster adult literacy in Mississippi
Second Chance was founded by former attorney Dickie Scruggs and is run by his son Zach Scruggs.
“Our state’s biggest resource is its people,” Zach Scrugs said at an informational meeting Wednesday night at Parkway Heights United Methodist Church. “We have to invest in our people.”
Both men realized the need for better education when they served time in federal prisons for their roles in a judicial bribery scheme.
