@CongPalazzo hopes President Obama’s UN Ambassador’s Israel abstention “final act of cowardice”

By: Magnolia Tribune - January 6, 2017

RELEASE:

Palazzo Objects UN Anti-Israel Resolution

Washington, DC – Congressman Steven Palazzo (MS-4) released a statement after the House passed a resolution supporting our ally Israel – Objecting to United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334 as an obstacle to Israeli-Palestinian peace:

“Last week, in what I hope was a final act of cowardice, President Obama’s Ambassador to the U.N. intentionally abstained from a vote to condemn the Jewish state of Israel, a vote essentially attacking one of our most valued partner nations.  President Obama has continued to thumb his nose at our greatest Middle East ally, and this act once again showed that his commitment has never been to our allies, but instead to misguided liberal policies. Last night we took a strong vote to condemn and reject the passage of this dangerous U.N. resolution.  All Americans should rest easy that Obama’s days in office are coming to an end.”
