TRENT KELLY: Upcoming Congress offers plenty of opportunities

Congress has spent a lot of the last six years working to stop the endless list of harmful policies coming out of the current administration.

While I’m proud of these achievements, I’m looking forward to the 115th Congress when we can advance legislation that will roll back regulations, strengthen our economy and ensure that our country is safe.

Every time I talk to Mississippi small business owners, farmers or local government officials, the issue that is always brought up is how needless regulations are hurting their ability to hire workers, make a profit or attract new businesses.
