Grants available for bicentennial events
Communities or groups hosting events tied to Mississippi’s bicentennial celebration next year may apply for a grant worth up to $10,000.
The Mississippi Humanities Council, partnering with Visit Mississippi, the tourism arm of the Mississippi Development Authority, will begin accepting applications Dec. 1 for part of a $500,000 pool funded by the state legislature to mark Mississippi’s bicentennial.
