Again, it’s a little early, but the Trump administration will be picking new U.S. attorneys for Mississippi, and one name is already surfacing early and often: Mike Hurst, former assistant U.S. attorney who unsuccessfully challenged Democratic Attorney General Jim Hood last year….
…McDaniel, an attorney, has said in the past he would relish a federal judgeship, which Trump would now fill should one come open. But McDaniel talk more recently has been about him challenging Republican U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker in 2018.
