Ecru elects Smith new mayor in special election

Jeff Smith wins Ecru’s special mayoral election

Ashley employee Jeff Smith won the special election for mayor of Ecru on Tuesday night.

Unofficial results Tuesday night showed Smith with 101 votes to interim mayor Glenn Denton’s 65.
