Former legislator, pastor Roy Dabbs dies
Former legislator and pastor, the Rev. Roy Dabbs, has died. He served in the Mississippi House of Representatives and was pastor of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Meridian. Dabbs founded Hilltop House for Girls in Lauderdale County.
State Rep. Greg Snowden says it’s a sad time when former legislators pass away, because they are like a family.
