Lumberton mayoral race heads to run off
The race for a new mayor in the city of Lumberton is heading to a run-off election, with alderman Kent Crider and blogger Jonathan Griffith still in the race.
The city held a special election for mayor Tuesday.
Crider clocked in with 146 votes, Griffith with 126 votes and Jerry Walters with 30 votes, not including 13 affidavits.
