RSLC Releases Ads on Mississippi Attorney General Hood’s Failed Leadership
Today, the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) launched issue ads across multiple platforms highlighting Mississippi Democrat Attorney General Jim Hood’s failed record of leadership on ObamaCare. The television and radio ads ask Mississippians to tell Jim Hood to do what’s right for his state, not what’s right for President Obama. The ads will air on the Mississippi Coast for the next week. Today’s ads are the first phase of an approximately quarter million dollar investment over the next few weeks by the RSLC to raise awareness for Attorney General Hood’s policy failures in the state.
“Attorney General Jim Hood’s priority list is out of step with Mississippians,” said RSLC President Matt Walter. “While insisting it was a waste of taxpayer dollars to join other states in a lawsuit challenging ObamaCare, he asked to spend hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on staff gym memberships and pay raises. Mississippi deserves better. These ads will shed new light on General Hood’s tenure and empower Mississippians to tell him that dealing with the president’s ObamaCare mess in his state should be more important than securing office perks.”
