Gov. Phil Bryant visiting Ingalls Thursday, one of several coast stops
PASCAGOULA, Mississippi — Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant will be making several appearances along the coast Thursday, including an afternoon visit to Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, where he will participate in a ceremonial bill signing.
Bryant signed Senate Bill 2906 into law in April. The bill includes authorization of $20 million in bond funding for improvements at the shipyard. According to Bryant spokesperson Nicole Webb, Bryant is joining Ingalls officials for the ceremonial signing to “highlight the importance of Ingalls and the state’s commitment to it.”
