Utterly pitiful fundraising emails coming from Travis Childers camp #mssen #dscc

By: Magnolia Tribune - October 1, 2014

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee must have completely written off Mississippi based on the emails that the Travis Childers campaign is sending out.

The first email was entitled “for your eyes only”. Sounds important, right?

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX –

This race is going to be a nail biter and what we do in the next few weeks will determine if we win or lose. We just got out of a strategic meeting to map out our final weeks. It is clear that we are going to have to pull out all the stops, and falling short on this deadline will mean cutting back on our voter outreach and ad plan.

We can’t let that happen: if we can raise another $5,475 before our FEC deadline tomorrow we will be able to expand our winning strategy.
You can give us the power to win this thing!

If that wasn’t sad enough, it was followed up with this. Apparently Childers staff doesn’t want to upset the man (bless his heart).

XXXXX – Just got my morning check-in from Travis. We are still $3,648 away from where we need to be and I know that is not what he is looking to hear.

Can you chip in right now so I can write back with some good news? Use this link and we will see your contribution immediately: http://action.childersforsenate.com/…….

Thanks, Dustin

If this is the best they got, “Dustin” needs to be fired. There are college kids running stronger campaign messaging than Childers campaign (and for a hell of a lot less).
