South MS Tea Party plans “coordinated protests” at Cochran’s offices over Ex-Im Bank

By: Magnolia Tribune - August 18, 2014

Exert from an email from the South MS Tea Party:

“Secondly, on Tuesday, August 19, there will be coordinated protests at Senator Thad Cochran’s local offices in Gulfport, Jackson and Oxford.

The protests are regarding the Export-Import Bank. The bank is up to expire on September 30, if Congress will allow it. However, Senator Cochran supports the Ex-Im bank and it’s 80 year old fountain of government-backed corporate welfare.

If you want to be involved, Senator Cochran’s Gulfport office is located at 2012 15th St. #451 in downtown Gulfport. The protest will last from 10:00 to 11:00 am. It will only be effective if you are there, so please make every effort to attend. Bring friends and signs. If you would like more information, go to www.freedomworks.org and scroll down to the article on the left hand side with Senator Cochran’s picture. If you would like to be a coordinator for the Gulfport protest, please call 228-222-2902 and leave a message with your name and phone number as this voicemail does not have caller ID.”
