Group wants answers from the Miss. Dept. of Ed
The Mississippi Senate Conservative Coalition has released a copy of a letter the group is sending to Mississippi Superintendent of Education Lynn House regarding the development of the Common Core Standards and their impact on Mississippi students achievement.
The correspondence lists 14 questions pertaining to the development of the standards.
MSCC plans to send more questions to Dr. House in the next several weeks regarding cost and technology requirements, data collection, grant applications and the role of the Federal Government in the states efforts to implement the new standards.
