Rep. Andy Gipson with the Tea Party on the Open Carry Law

On July 9, 2013, the Central MS Chapter of the MS Tea Party welcomed Rep. Andy Gipson.

In the YouTube video below, Rep. Gipson discusses our constitutional right to keep and bear arms. He also addresses the recently enacted open carry statute which was signed into law by Gov. Phil Bryant.

Most recently, a county circuit judge in Hinds County blocked implemention of the law claiming that it was “unconstitituionally vague”. Rep. Gipson responds and discusses the the law’s constitutional foundation.
