Bryant will announce Biloxi stadium plans Thursday
Gov. Phil Bryant will be in Biloxi Thursday to announce plans for a minor league baseball stadium north of the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino on U.S. 90.
He will be joined by Biloxi Mayor A.J. Holloway and other local officials at the 3 p.m. announcement, during which Bryant will unveil the preliminary designs for the stadium.
Earlier this month the Biloxi Council voted to announce their intent to issue up to $21 million in bonds for the construction of the stadium, which is adjacent to Interstate 110.
