Pascagoula nets 4 mayoral candidates on first day of qualifying
Four Pascagoula mayor hopefuls rushed to the city clerk’s office Wednesday during the first day of qualifying for this year’s municipal elections.
Current Mayor Robbie Maxwell, who ran unopposed in 2008, said last year that he would not seek a second term in the election.
The 4 men who tossed their hats into the ring Wednesday are businessmen Jim Blevins and Robert Hardy and city councilmen Frank Corder and George Wolverton.
