Mississippi posts record voter turnout
Mississippi’s secretary of state told Olive Branch Chamber of Commerce members Wednesday that voter turnout last week exceeded any previous numbers.
“Over 1.3 million — a record for turnout for the state,” Delbert Hosemann said. “We should all be very, very proud. We had a record turnout.”
The final figure will be ready Friday.
