Think tank: Health exchange a bad law
An official from a conservative think tank told southwest Mississippi Republicans Thursday that the Affordable Care Act — also known as Obamacare — will bring a heavy government hand on health care choices, damage the free market and scare off doctors.
Before a crowd of about 50 people at the Days Inn in McComb, Dr. Jameson Taylor, vice president of policy of the Mississippi Center for Public Policy, first compared the law to a hypothetical automobile exchange.
