Mississippi Association of REALTORS® endorses Josiah Coleman for MSSC

MISSISSIPPI ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS ENDORSE JOSIAH COLEMAN FOR SUPREME COURT

The Mississippi Association of REALTORS® has announced its endorsement of Josiah Coleman for the Mississippi Supreme Court, Northern District. The Mississippi Association of REALTORS® contains hundreds of pro-business members throughout the state of Mississippi and aspires to be the business advocate for real estate professionals.

“As REALTORS® we believe that a commitment to a fair legal environment is conducive to a thriving business environment and we feel that Josiah Coleman will bring that commitment to the Supreme Court. Mississippi has done a great deal in the past few years to improve its legal environment and Mr. Coleman will be a voice to continue that effort,” said Watkins “Noggin” Wild, McComb 2012 Mississippi Association of REALTORS® President.

“There has been a groundswell of support for my campaign from an increasing number of people and groups who understand the importance of electing qualified and impartial jurists to serve our State,” said Coleman. “I want to thank the Mississippi Association of REALTORS® for their endorsement and the confidence they have placed in me to be the fair and impartial member of the bench Mississippi, her people and her business needs.”

An active Mississippi defense and appellate attorney, Coleman is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute, American Inns of Court and the Lafayette County Bar Association. He has been admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, all United States District Courts in the state and all State Courts in Mississippi.

Coleman resides in Toccopola in Pontotoc County, where he is an active volunteer firefighter and secretary of the Board of Deacons at College Hill Presbyterian Church in Oxford. He is married to the former Ashleigh Burke, and they have one daughter, Merrimac.
