Zach Scruggs oral arguments set
A federal appeals court will hear oral arguments on Zach Scruggs’ attempt to have his conviction overturned in a Mississippi judicial bribery case.
The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has tentatively scheduled arguments for early July.
The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports (http://bit.ly/HQzEnY) that Scruggs has appealed from a 2011 ruling by U.S. District Judge Neal B. Biggers Jr. in Oxford.
