Southaven aldermen to discuss Davis credit card expenses tonight
The Southaven Board of Aldermen has called a special meeting at 8 tonight and is expected to discuss in a private executive session Mayor Greg Davis’ city-issued credit card statements.
The state auditor’s office has given the board a Friday deadline to review the charges on Davis’ BancorpSouth credit card and reach a consensus on whether the expenses were personal or city business.
At their March 20 board meeting, aldermen met in a nearly six-hour executive session and reviewed the statements dating to 2009 but did not announce a decision on what to do about them.
