Hattiesburg American – Palazzo a strong candidate in MS-04

First-term Rep. Steven Palazzo may not have pleased everybody in Mississippi’s 4th Congressional District.

But Palazzo, R-Miss., seems a strong candidate for re-election based not only on what he’s done, but what he hasn’t.

“Rep. Palazzo has done many of the right things that a freshman member of Congress should be doing,” said Mark Wrighton, assistant professor of political science at the University of Southern Mississippi.

Including staying in step with the voting preferences of the House Republican leaders.
