Tom Cramer, a member of the MS Gulf Coast 912 Project (the Coast’s Tea Party affiliate), is working to qualify for a run for the U.S. Senate. Cramer is collecting the 1,000 signatures necessary to run as what is being termed as a “conservative Independent.”
If he is successful, Cramer would face current U.S. Senator Roger Wicker in the general election in November 2012.

Senate passes bipartisan housing bill to improve access and affordability
The bill passed on Thursday would reduce regulations, regulate corporate investors and expand how housing dollars can be used to build affordable homes and rentals.
