Haley Barbour to hit lecture circuit next month
Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour tells The Associated Press his first event as a professional speaker will be the day after he leaves office.
Barbour says he’s booked to speak Jan. 11 in Miami at a conference hosted by Barclays bank.
His second term as governor ends at noon Jan. 10.
Barbour was a Washington lobbyist and former Republican National Committee chairman before he was elected governor in November 2003.
