Barbour working on deal for book
Gov. Haley Barbour is working on a deal for his planned book on lessons in leadership, sharing advice on how to handle “mega disasters.”
“I want to do a book about (Hurricane) Katrina,” said the 63-year-old governor, now months away from the end of his second and final term.
Marty Wiseman, director of the John C. Stennis Institute of Government and professor of political science at Mississippi State University, said he can see the appeal of such a how-to book “in this very divided partisan environment, rather than a book that’s nothing more than a long list of indictments of the other party.”
